Church Services
Church services are held at 9.30am and 6.00pm every Sunday. Creche and Sunday School are available in the morning service.
Area Fellowships
Because of the large membership of our church, we have divided our Bible Study into Sections or groups. These Sections meet at the homes of members and here we have an opportunity to study God's word and get to know each other better. Area fellowships meet every 2nd and 4th Wednesday of the month At 8.00 pm
Catechism Classes
All baptised members receive instruction in the Christian faith and doctrine. This generally commences in the year the children turn the age of 13, and continues until they have completed the Senior Catechism class. Public Profession of Faith may take place at the end of this instruction process or during it. Adults wishing to become members of the church can also attend these classes or a separate class, whatever is most suitable. Contact the minister.
There are 4 groups:
Junior Catechism: 7:00 - 8:00pm Tuesdays at the Church
Intermediate Catechism: 7:00 - 8:00pm Tuesdays at the Church
Senior Catechism: 8:00 - 9:00pm Tuesdays at the Church
Profession of Faith: 9:00 - 10:00pm Tuesdays at the Manse
Ladies Fellowship
Ladies Fellowship meets on the 3rd Wednesday of every month at 9:30am at the homes of one of the ladies for a few hours of fellowship. This is a time of sharing from the word of God, sometimes doing crafts, outings, and other activities.
Cadets
Cadets is a club for boys from 8 - 15 years. Its purpose is to train boys in Christian leadership. It is a lot of fun doing things together with other boys and also teaches them what to do with their leisure time. Activities include Bible study, badge and craft work, outings, games, and camps. They meet fortnightly at the church building from 7:00 till 9:00 pm on Fridays.
Calvinettes
Calvinettes is a club for girls from 8 - 15 years. The girls undertake Bible studies, badge and craft work, games, outings, and camps. They meet fortnightly at the church building from 7:00 till 9:00 pm on Fridays.
Sunday School
Sunday School is a time of worship and learning for children 3-4 years old, pre-schoolers and years 1 and 2. Together with teachers and helpers the children participate in prayer and singing to the Lord, contribute to an offering, (supporting a sponsor child), and learn from the many Bible stories and activities. Sunday School Commences 9:30 every Sunday (except school holidays), and runs throughout the morning church worship service.
Creche
A creche is available during the morning service to care for children from 0-3 years of age.
GOZZY Christian Reformed Youth
We meet every Friday at 7.30pm at the church. Bible studies, topics on different social issues, games and various activities are part of the program. Camps, outings and social activities are also organised regularly.
Junior Youth Club
The Junior Youth Group meets every second Friday at 7.30pm at various locations. Bible studies, games and activities are part of the program. Ages 14 to 16 are encouraged to join.
